Why Meditate?
This introductory meditation course will explore and practice meditation as a tool for increasing self-awareness, or mindfulness. As mindfulness increases, we can experience more calm and more ease in our daily lives. We notice an increase in our capacity for compassion and kindness towards ourselves and others.
This course supports you in developing your own daily practice, helping to balance your stress and experience a calmer and radiant life. The benefits of a meditation practice will be appreciated in a healthier mind and healthier
body.
Your One Day Course:
• Six 45 minute sessions supported by an experienced meditation teacher
• Guided and silent meditations
• Posture, breathing, body awareness, relaxation and mindfulness techniques
• Reflection and group discussions
• Suggested daily practices with feedback
• Integrate these practices into your daily life to enjoy the benefits of meditation•
Your Course Instructor:
Kaye Gartner exudes a gentle warmth that instantly puts all around her at ease. Kaye began her meditation journey in 1972, and has been an active member of the Sydney Insight Meditation community for the past 11 years, studying with many other wonderful teachers. Running a successful acupuncture clinic for 20 years, she brings a wealth of experience and confidence in assisting those around her to find their path to wellness.
